About bornthis.day
What is bornthis.day?
bornthis.day is a website that shows what the world looked like on the day you were born, with checked facts for your country and city. Its Destiny feature reveals your Destiny Type, one of 60 personality types, from your birth date and time, for fun and reflection.
The day you were born
Enter your birth date, country and city to see that day’s weather, the moon, the No. 1 song, prices, cars, TV, famous people born that year, the news and how the world changed as you grew up. Every fact comes from a public source, is checked, and shows where it came from.
What is Destiny?
Destiny is a birthday personality reading based on a long tradition of birth-time astrology. Your birth year, month, day and hour each match one of 60 combinations of an element and an animal. The combination of your birth day is your Destiny Type.
The five elements
Wood (growth and kindness), Fire (warmth and passion), Earth (steadiness and care), Metal (focus and strength) and Water (wisdom and flow). Everyone has a mix of all five; the balance in your chart shapes your reading.
The 60 Destiny Types
Five elements times twelve animals make 60 types, from the Wood Rat to the Water Pig. Each has its own personality, love style, best matches and famous people.
How readings are made
Your chart is calculated exactly: the time zone and summer time of your birth city, the true solar time, and the turning points of the solar year. The readings are then written by an AI (Claude, by Anthropic) from that chart, following our rules: plain words, no fear, no predictions about health.
For entertainment
Destiny is for fun and reflection. It can’t predict the future, and nobody should base decisions about health, money or the law on it.
